Stingers NEW ALBUM in progress....
The Stingers got back to the studio over the long, not so hot summer in Austin to record a bunch of new tracks before Jonny relocated to NYC. The new tracks display yet another side of the Stingers songwriting, leaning more to the rocksteady soul side of life. The tracks are currently being mixed by none other than Victor Rice at the Strikkly Vikkly studios in Brooklyn (owned by Easy Star All Star keys player Victor Axelrod, inhabited mostly these days by the other Victor...). Look for the new record to hit the streets in 2008. A few pre-mastered tracks have peeped up at our myspace page. Let us know what you think!
